GUCCI ANCORA FASHION SHOW IN BRERA
Rain brings Gucci back to its headquarters. Due to uncertain weather conditions forecast for Friday, September 22—which risked compromising the organization of the women’s Spring/Summer 2024 show originally planned in the streets of Brera—Gucci decided to host the “Gucci Ancora” show inside the Gucci Hub, located at Via Mecenate 77 in Milan.
The press release, issued at 7:25 PM, put an end to the ongoing buzz surrounding the shows affected by the adverse weather. Bar Brera, a central point of the event, had been fully set up and customized for the occasion, ready to welcome guests and participants in an elegant and vibrant atmosphere, reflecting the bohemian and artistic spirit of the district.
The streets originally involved in the show included Via Formentini, Via Fiori Chiari and especially Via Brera. However, the unfavorable weather conditions forced a last-minute change of location.
“This decision was made to ensure the highest level of safety for the production teams involved and to provide the best possible experience for guests, models, employees and all participants,” the statement continues.
The show, originally scheduled in the heart of the Brera district, had been announced by Sabato De Sarno via his Instagram profile, featuring a map of Milan highlighting the event area near Bar Brera and the Pinacoteca di Brera.
“Gucci thanks the institutions, associations and the Brera community for their collaboration, trust and support over the past months,” the statement concludes.
